Dorothy Ng is a consultant, project manager, and group fitness enthusiast. She loves being surrounded by a supportive community of people who push her to do one more rep, to hold that plank for a few more seconds, or to embrace that shake. She took dance lessons as a young girl and recently re-discovered her love of movement through barre, pilates, HIIT, and spin. When she’s not working, you can often find Dorothy trying a new restaurant in town, relaxing with a novel, or on Wikitravel planning her next adventure.

Michelle DuVall is the creator of Barre Variations, a compressive method and manual with an expanded syllabus of choreography and technique. She is also a passionate motivator who creates inclusive experiences for her community through movement sessions, wellness events and retreats.

Joanna Stone (aka Jo) is a barre and yoga instructor, dancer, personal trainer, and avid traveller. Joanna had been teaching barre for over five years when she created Barre Vida because she wanted to create a new barre method and barre instructor certification course open to all individuals. Barre Vida focuses on the alignment principles in the barre workout, injury prevention, and strength. You can catch Joanna biking from class to class all over New York City. She really is a somatic nerd!

Daniella LeCointe is a writer and fashion enthusiast. She spends her days as an assistant and her nights on her dreams. You can follow her self love/fitness journey @_missclaudine on Instagram.

Jennifer is a pilates and yoga instructor in Toronto, who uses movement to help clients achieve their movement goals through mat pilates, yoga sessions tailored to their needs.
When she's not busy being a new mom, you'll find her creating content for her YouTube channel, trying new workouts, indulging in plant-based foods, and trying new K-beauty routines.

Melissa created this blog because, like many other people who have discovered the barre workout, it has completely changed her life. The more time she spent taking classes, the more she found herself wanting to make the studio her home away from home and connect with other like-minded people.
In an effort to create an outlet where she could share her passion with others, she built this website and started to draft content that she thought would resonate with others who are just as passionate about the exercises as she is.
